Bonivital Soccer Club is excited to announce a regional tournament that draws players from all of Winnipeg and surrounding areas. In celebration of Folklorama we are excited to bring back a Winnipeg favorite, the Mini World Cup! This event is geared towards athletes aged U9-U17 that are registered and in good standing with our provincial organization, MSA. This tournament is an MSA sanctioned event.

BVSC Mini World Cup is proud to have the cultures of Folklorama celebreated in the tournament. Players are accepted on a first come-first serve basis. Opening ceremonies will take place Thursday, August 3rd starting at 5:30 pm. Come enjoy the music, performances and food! Folklorama begins Sunday, August 6th after the final game!

For this tournament you register as an individual,  and will be placed on a team. You are allowed to make one friend request during registration, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Cost:

U9-12 $60 registration fee
U13-17 $65 registration fee

Field Sizes:

U9-U12 LTPD Field Grass 6v6 

U13-U17 Half Field Turf 9v9

Minimum games: 

U9-12 3 games guaranteed

U13-17 3 games guaranteed with potential for 4th game for finals for top 2 teams of the group

Game Length: 

U9-U12 2 x 25 minute halves

U13-U17 2 x 35 minute halves

Max Roster Sizes: 

U9-U12 11 players 

U13-U17 16 players

Point System: 

U9-12 Jamboree Style

U13-17 4 points for a win, 3 points max for goals, 1 for draw, 2 for a shutout

Schedule will be released once registration closes, and the teams are formed.
