Calling all youth soccer players… If you have previously played soccer with one of the Community Centre's in the BVSC District, registration is now centralized!

Register today! This league is all about having fun, so feel free to include a friend or coach request, and you will also be asked for the names of both your designated Community Centre and School so that teams can be formed based on previous years and location!

Our amazing Recreational Team, being lead by current and former Recreational Conveners will be managing team formation and the Recreational Programming.

RECREATIONAL REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

The following instructions are for registering a player who has previously registered to a Recreational program & for those who have never registered to a Recreational program previously.

Once on the Registration page, click on 'RECREATIONAL Registration' from the drop-down menu beneath the 'New Player Registration' tab

FOR RETURNING PLAYERS

(IF YOU HAVE PLAYED RECREATIONAL AT A COMMUNITY CENTRE WITHIN THE DISTRICT YOU ARE A RETURNING PLAYER)

  • Select 'Yes' to 'Are you a returning player?'

  • Log in using your child's information - name, DOB, and access code. If you do not know your child's access code, click on the blue 'What's my access code' link to retrieve it by email. If you have any issues, please email us at admin@bonivitalsoccer.com.

  • Once logged in, please complete steps 1-4 of the registration form

FOR NEW PLAYERS OR IF PREVIOUS DID NOT WORK

    • Select 'No' to 'Are you a returning player?'

    • Complete all four steps of the registration form

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Recreational soccer is available to players aged 9-18 (born in 2004 - 2013).

All players U9 – U18 play in a city-wide league organized by WYSA.


General information about outdoor soccer:

  • U9 – U12 (born 2013 to 2010) play two times per week in May and June. Matches are played on fields within the Bonivital Soccer district. Practice frequency and times are determined by individual coaches. No standings are tabulated during the season, and all matches will have officials assigned to them. All matches start at 6:00 or 7:15 PM.

  • U13 – U18 (born 2009 to 2004) will typically play two times per week and compete in a city-wide league which is organized by the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association. Matches are played on multiple fields across the city. Practice frequency and times are determined by individual coaches. Matches are played in May and June (possibly early July) with the Cambrian Challenge Cup (playoffs) in September. All matches start at 6:00 or 7:30 pm during the League portion of the season, and 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM in September due to light issues.


  • Please be advised that the U17 & U18 divisions will not play the last week of June due to graduation commitments.

  • U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 teams will typically play their games on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Sundays.

  • U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 teams will typically play on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.

  • If the U17 and U18 age groups are combined, games will be played on the U17 playing nights.

  • The outdoor soccer season is tentatively slated to open at the beginning of May, but this may change depending on field conditions.


General Information about Indoor Soccer:


Indoor soccer is a great way to play soccer through the winter. It will help maintain and build skills. Winnipeg's indoor facilities are fabulous! Make indoor soccer is your new winter sport!

INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE DETAILS:

  • The league is available for players between the ages of 9-18 (born 2004 to 20013).

  • The season will start in mid November and finishes in mid-March.

  • Christmas break from December 22 to January 5

  • This is a city-wide league, and games are scheduled by WYSA (Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association).

  • Historically, the girls' teams play on Saturdays and boys' teams play on Sundays. Older age groups may play during the week.

  • Games are played in venues throughout the city: Winnipeg Soccer Federation South(University of Manitoba), Axworthy Health and RecPlex (University of Winnipeg), and Winnipeg Soccer Federation North (on Leila close to McPhillips)

  • Practices - Teams will have one practice a week in a school gym.

  • Teams will be determined in October.

  • Late registration will only be accepted depending on the availability of roster spots in the age group. All late registrations are subject to a $50.00 late fee. There are no exceptions.



COACHES NEEDED: Parent coaches are the foundation of our soccer teams. In fact, the league doesn’t exist without them, so we ask that you strongly consider the possibility of stepping up for this important leadership role.

Coaches will complete the applicable coaching credential (often delivered over a weekend), along with ongoing support and access to resources. Not only will you be contributing to your child's development, you will be supporting the community too. Be part of this rewarding experience!
