The Recreational League provides an inclusive environment where players of all backgrounds and abilities can enjoy soccer while building friendships and developing their skills
Gender specific teams to ensure everyone plays and develops together. The recreational format welcomes beginners and advanced players alike. Everyone plays!
Consistent match play throughout the season provides realistic game scenarios and competitive development opportunities.
Build lasting relationships with teammates from across the St. Vital and St. Boniface communities.

Parent coaches are the foundation of our soccer teams. In fact, the league doesn’t exist without them, so we ask that you strongly consider the possibility of stepping up for this important leadership role.
Coaches will complete the applicable coaching credential, along with ongoing support and access to resources. Not only will you be contributing to your child's development, you will be supporting the community too. Be part of this rewarding experience!
❓ Do I need to have previous soccer experience to join?
No! The recreational league welcomes players of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, there's a place for you. Our program is designed to accommodate mixed abilities.
❓ What if I can't make every practice or game?
We understand that life happens. While consistent participation helps development and team chemistry, communicate with your coach about scheduling conflicts. We'll do our best to accommodate.
❓ What equipment do I need to bring?
Each player needs soccer cleats (or running shoes), shin guards, soccer socks, and a water bottle. The club provides practice bibs and team uniform kits.
❓ Are there tryouts or team selections?
No formal tryouts for recreational league. Teams are formed based on friend and coach requests. Players will be placed within their birth year.
❓ What happens if my child wants to advance to a higher level?
Excellent! Players in the recreational league are encouraged to try out for our Premier or Developmental teams.
❓ How many players can join?
We welcome unlimited registrations until registration closes. Once the registration deadline has passed, late registrations are accepted only if space is available.
